In a Towers Watson research on the main attraction, retention, and engagement drivers in the workforce, it was revealed that the Gen Y are inclined towards employers with a strong corporate social responsibility.

With the country’s continued economic growth forecast and foreign investments continuing to come in, companies are able to justify a good salary increase for their performing employees. Attrition rate though, is on the high side at 15%. Availability of opportunities for career progression is considered as a top retention factor by employees, hence, programs that will support this should be in place.
