Towers Watson Appoints Conrad Lagasca Vice President in Its Reinsurance Brokerage Business

NEW YORK, August 18, 2011 — Global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) has appointed Conrad Lagasca vice president in its reinsurance brokerage business. Based in San Francisco, he reports to Hugo Kostelni, executive vice president, reinsurance brokerage.

In his role, Lagasca is responsible for working with Towers Watson’s key clients and potential clients in the western portion of the United Sates on the strategic development of reinsurance programs, and improving those companies’ business performance. He will also support the continued expansion of the company’s professional liability practice.

Prior to joining Towers Watson, Conrad was most recently a vice president at Willis Re, where he was involved in a variety of managerial and client services-related initiatives since 2001, including the development of proposals and the negotiation of excess insurance, treaty and facultative reinsurance programs to the global market. Before joining Willis Re, from 1995 - 2001, he held a variety of executive positions, including vice president of E.W. Blanch Company, which, at the time, was the largest independent broker in the United States.
