Several senior members of Towers Watson’s executive compensation consulting practice will be among the featured speakers at the 21st annual conference of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) coming up later this month in Washington, D.C.:
- Paula Todd, a director based in the firm’s Atlanta office, will take part in a panel discussion offering “An Inside-the-Beltway Look at the Future of Executive Compensation.” A founding member of NASPP who served on the organization’s advisory board for many years, Paula is a noted expert on stock- based compensation and frequent speaker at NASPP and other industry events.
- Steve Seelig, senior regulatory advisor for executive compensation in Towers Watson’s Research and Information Center in Arlington, Virginia, will share his insights as part of a panels entitled “The Consultants Speak: Hot Topics in Executive Compensation.” and “Director Compensation: Evolving Pay Strategies.” A frequent contributor to Executive Pay Matters, Steve’s area of expertise include the taxation and legal implications (including Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure rules) of all forms of executive pay, benefits and perquisites.
- Don Delves, a director in our Chicago office, will be part of a panel that will discuss “Putting Your Best Foot Forward: How to Ensure Your Pay Practices Pass.” A recent addition to Towers Watson’s executive compensation consulting practice and founder of The Delves Group , Don is a frequent speaker and has written extensively on executive compensation topics.
Attracting close to 2,000 attendees annually, the NASPP annual conference is part of a weeklong series of programs including the “10th Annual Executive Compensation Conference” and “Tackling Your 2014 Compensation Disclosures: The Proxy Disclosure Conference.” New this year, NASPP is also offering an intensive one-day program on “Financial Reporting for Stock Compensation” on September 23.
